I agree that everyone deserves to eat. As I mentioned I disagree with the policy.

When I say it is not unreasonable I should clarify that what I mean is that I believe there are ways that it could be implemented that are just. These are complex and a bit long for me to write in this response.

The main one would be removing the fear of criminal prosecution for drug charges. We have made a serious mental health problem into a stigmatized criminal problem and that needs to end immediately if we are to make our society just.
